La emoción en el cómic
Atrapados entre la ansiedad y el miedo, una lectura de La isla (Mayte Alvarado)

El artículo presenta un modelo para la comprensión de los niveles de la representación emocional en la narración gráfica. Se enfoca en la representación del miedo y la ansiedad a través de un análisis de la novela gráfica La isla (Mayte Alvarado, 2021). Muestra cómo la narrativa visual utiliza eventos emocionales entretejidos en un universo narrativo a fin contextualizar las acciones de los personajes en relación con sus metas. Primero, bosqueja un modelo para el análisis de las emociones en la narración visual y luego analiza algunos de estos componentes en La isla en relación con los signos visuales y verbales de dicha narrativa. Posteriormente, argumenta que para realizar inferencias sobre la causalidad de las acciones de la trama, las lectoras y los lectores deben inferir estados emocionales y establecer el contexto particular que no se encuentra explícito, sino que se construye en la interpretación.Downloads
